Workflow

1. Parcel labeling at the Origin, transportation to ETOE

Customers collect and label parcels with CN22, CN23 provided via Post+ API. Post+ API is configured to issue tracking numbers and parcel labels from dedicated UPU S10 ranges.

• Integrations are not used at this point, tracking numbers are generated from allocated UPU S10 number ranges

Once collected, customers send parcels in batches to our ETOE located in EU. 

2. Handling at ETOE, transportation to Destination

Here Post+ proceeds with parcel sorting and postal receptacle packing and handling using allocated IMPC codes.

• Parcels are packed into outbound receptacles

• Outbound dispatch is created, dispatch and receptacle CN documents generated

  • via IPS API

• Outbound consignement is created, consignement CN documents generated

  • via IPS User Interface

• Some manual corrections/adjustments such as disaptch cancellation

  • via IPS User Interface

• ITMATT decalarations are send 

  • via CDS API

After sorting, the mail is transported to the destination country. 

3. Delivery, Tracking and Customer Service

The final step in the workflow is the delivery of mail to recipients.

To enhance customer experience, Post+ provides tracking options and customer service support. This includes:

• Allowing customers to track their mail in real-time.

• Providing assistance for inquiries, lost mail, or delivery issues.

• Analyses delivery performance

Post+ pulls tracking information from various sources and stores in it’s own database

• Tracking is collected via IPS API

Integration requirements

• IMPC code(s) registered for ETOE

• UPU S10 number ranges for agreed mail types

• Access to IPS User Interface for ETOE handling

  • Usually via Remote Desktop with installed IPS Client
